Entry from: Syuhai, Taiwan Entry Title: "Walking inland south - rolling hills + ocean views" Entry: "Route: Jinluen ( by bus )- Daren - Shouka village ( abandoned ) - Dongyuan village - Syuhai village Total Distance: 34 km Altitude up: 600m Altitude down: 600m Today I have no real feeling for what to expect, as I will walk away from the coast for a while. At 6:20 I catch the bus to Daren. I am the only passenger for a short time, then in the next villages or from hidden farms school children ( junior high school ) fill the bus to capacity. Everyone is curious to see a foreigner and they say 'Hello', 'Hi', 'How are you?', ' High boy, 'I love you', which goes for both boys and girls,' Where are you from?' In Dawu all children leave the bus waving and calling 'Good Bye'. At the local police station I inquire again if there is at least a small road or trail along the cost which I could walk between Daren and Syuhai, but also they give a negative answer. So I have no way, but to walk inland on No. 9 at first, because being alone I cannot risk to fall off some rocks along the coast and to spend the rest of my numbered days in solitude. The road goes up from 0 m to 445m between the road markings kilometers 443 and 455. A truck driver stops, advises me to walk on the right side of the road and not against the ...

Entry from: Lake Tinaroo, Australia Entry Title: "Lake Tinaroo" Entry: "Thursday, 4th October, 2007 (Written by Stephen) Suzanne's Birthday, Lake Tinaroo An executive decision was arrived at last night and we packed up camp and said goodbye to Palm Cove (even though the day looked like being a beauty). It was decided we would head back down to Cairns, first and most importantly collect my credit card that I realised last night I had left at a bottle shop, do some shopping (cake and birthday cards for Suz), fill up with gas/petrol and head up onto the Atherton Tableland and camp the night at Lake Tinaroo. Most people probably don't know but this Lake is without a doubt the premier Barramundi spot in QLD. However, it being an impoundment lake you need not only a special license but a boat is also a necessity. I did feel however if I could just be near to a place of this caliber some luck might rub off and I might catch a "Barra" later in the trip. A fairly uneventful trip up the side of the mountains onto the Tableland's back past Kuranda, where we started seeing lots of termite mounds off the side of the road and a big area of coffee plantations near Mareeba. We arrived at the Scout Camp (which we had been told about) and managed to slide the car/van down to the camp area and set up in the last ...

11017 -- Two Rivers mural abstraction plan "A"

Saturday, November 26, 2011
-----------------ใส่ตรงนี้คับ----------------

OVERVIEW The existing landscape for this Two Rivers residence had an entry walk that went from the front door to the driveway -- This meant when any guests arrived at the house, they would have to walk up the driveway (and stare at the garage doors), then make a sharp turn against the residence then squeeze to the front door. This did not have great curb appeal and the entry way was far from welcoming. The back yard had spectacular views of the manmade "lake" and waterfalls, but was wide open to the neighbors on both sides. The main goals for the clients were: • Add a sitting area by the front and make the entry more welcoming • Screen the neighbors on both side, but keep the views to the "lake" open • Expand the existing patio • Add fire element • Add water element • Add garden area • Create separate rooms CONCEPT PLAN "A" In this first concept a new entry walk leads from the front door to the street. A small entry patio is located by the front door, a great spot to enjoy a morning coffee. A small disappearing waterfall adds interest and the sound of water to the front yard. Stone walls (to match the residence) and lush plantings finish off the front yard. A flagstone path acts as the main entry from the side yard to the back yard. A new larger brick paver patio has room for a freestanding grill, dining table and lots of annual color pots. 18"-24" tall landscape walls (to match residence) with lush screen plantings add privacy from the neighbors on either side. A sunken ...

La Crema Poverina: True And Fake Espresso Part 2

Saturday, November 19, 2011
-----------------ใส่ตรงนี้คับ----------------

www.DietCoffee.org http Well, all these things being said, I already told you that nobody in Italy has a huge and expensive espresso machine in their homes (well, maybe some do), but Italians always have their moka pots! One of the FAQs about moka pots is how to obtain crema in your espresso. And I told you. You can't. Some people have tried everything: hot water instead of cold water, mineral water, pressing the coffee in the funnel, more coffee in the funnel, less coffee in the funnel... And no, you can't. I know it can be very frustrating. Above all, because when the coffee is coming out, you can actually see some crema coming out. But this crema is too weak to survive, poverina! So, you have to learn to live with the fact that stovetop espresso doesn't have crema... OR you can use a little Italian trick to trick yourself. In an espresso cup put some sugar (about 6 tsp for 4 shots of espresso). Use the first drops of coffee that begin to come out in your moka pot. Pour a couple of drops in the cup with the sugar. Stir quickly until a dense caramel-colored cream forms (the sugar has to partly dissolve, use another couple of drops of coffee if you need to). When your coffee is ready, use this cream to sweeten your coffee and to give a nice touch of fake crema!' www.DietCoffee.org http

Review of Plants VS Zombies for XBLA by Protomario

Thursday, November 17, 2011
-----------------ใส่ตรงนี้คับ----------------

Plants vs. Zombies sees players placing different types of plants and fungi, such as Potato Mines, Peashooters, Cattails, Hypno-shrooms, Cabbage-pults, Melon-pults, planterns and many others, each with their own unique offensive or defensive capabilities, across the front lawn, back lawn, and roof of a house in order to stop a horde of zombies from devouring the brains of the residents. The playing field is divided into a number of horizontal tracks, and in general, although there are exceptions (such as when the plant Garlic is used), a zombie will only move towards the player's house along one track, and most plants can only attack or defend against zombies in the track they are planted in. In the game's initial levels, if the zombie reaches the player's house, a one-shot tool (a lawn mower or pool cleaner) can be used to completely wipe out zombies in that track, but the tool will not be restored until the next level. In later levels, players have to purchase upgrades so as to adapt their lawn-mower to new environments like pools or rooftops. Zombies, except in special cases, attempt to devour any plants in their way while heading towards the house. The player starts with a limited number of seed packs and seed pack slots that they can use during most levels. New seed packs are gained by completing levels, while the number of slots can be increased through purchases with in-game money. At the start of a level, the player is shown the various types of zombies to expect ...

Audiobook: Naughty Neighbor by Janet Evanovich

Friday, November 11, 2011
-----------------ใส่ตรงนี้คับ----------------

Buy full audiobook: www.qksrv.net Dear Listener: In a previous life, before the time of Plum, I wrote 12 short romance novels. Red-hot screwball comedies, each and every one of them. Nine of these stories were originally published by the Loveswept line between the years 1988 and 1992. All immediately went out of print and could be found only at used bookstores and yard sales. I'm excited to tell you that those nine stories are now being re-released by HarperCollins. Naughty Neighbor is the eighth in the lineup, and it's presented here in almost its original form. Usually, when I edit these books, I do some modernizing. For instance, I change VHS to DVD, and roller skates to Rollerblades, and sticks of gum are now pieces of gum. I do this because the books were meant to be contemporary (as opposed to historical), and I don't want the listener to have a time disconnect. In the beginning of the original Naughty Neighbor, my heroine throws a handheld phone into the toilet, and the next morning she goes into the bathroom and sees the "slim silver antenna caught between the toilet lid and seat." Okay, so most phones don't have extended antennas anymore, but I just loved the image...so I left it in. And I don't know how many women wear front-closure bras anymore, but that got left in, too. Naughty Neighbor is probably the most romancey of all the Loveswepts I wrote, but there's still a small mystery to unravel. Louisa Brannigan is a no-nonsense, hardworking press secretary ...

Giant monuments to superheroes and mythological characters, recreations of Stonehenge made of old cars, and giant coffee pots...lots of giant coffee pots for some strange reason... litter America's highways. That's why we're going to take a look at some of the most offbeat destinations in America. And nothing says all American quirk quite like a visit to the home of the King of Rock and Roll. That's right, Elvis's Graceland mansion, in Memphis Tennessee. His former home has been converted into a monument to the eccentric super star, with a walking museum tour through his trophy room, shooting range, and car collection. There is even a room dedicated to The King's over the top, sequined jumpsuits he wore on stage. Towards the end of the tour, you can visit his meditation garden, where Elvis himself is buried. Visitors are not allowed upstairs, where The King's bedroom remains untouched since the day of his death. And if you're looking for a place to stay while in Memphis for your Elvis experience, check in to The Heartbreak Hotel, a King inspired boutique right down the road from Graceland. Check out one of their themed suites, including the Graceland Suite, designed to feel like you are living in the mansion, the art deco Hollywood suite which tips a hat to Elvis's movies, or the Gold and Platinum suite, themed after Elvis's musical triumphs. And if you're feeling frisky, check in for two to the Burning Love room, named after The King's 1972 hit and meant to make you feel ...

PvZ Impossible claiming - Rooftop akin with mushrooms only!

Wednesday, November 2, 2011
-----------------ใส่ตรงนี้คับ----------------

Alright, this one is seriously the mother of all Plants vs Zombies challenges. Beating a daytime level with only mushrooms was cake compared to this. In this video, I take on a rooftop level (with bungies!) with only mushrooms, flower pots and coffee beans. If this doesn't sound impossible to you, I encourage you to go try this one yourself. The biggest problem is obviously that the slant of the roof prevents you from planting in the back lines entirely since there are no lobbing mushrooms. And scaredy shrooms are very difficult to use since the zombies get very close very fast. Sun is an extremely scarce resource, and every plant costs a minimum of 75 sun to be of any use. Though, if you watch the video, you'll have to admit the cheeky technique I use is pretty clever. You can actually alternate puff-shrooms and imitater puff shrooms on any level for a free mini-wall-nut. This technique ultimately becomes the bread-and-butter of my strategy here. Enjoy!
